World Press Photo Exhibit

This wondrous exposition runs until June 22 and it's hosted in our favourite Red Light District adjacent church - De Oude Kerk. This collection of powerful snap shots is just around the corner from St Christopher's and the Winston.

Art Amsterdam

This was covered last year and I'm throwing it your way again in 2008. The collection of contemporary, international artists can be viewed in the RAI convention centre, the exhibit is entitled KunstRAI and you can enjoy it until May 12, 2008.

The Amsterdam Literary Festival

This literary bad boy kicks off on May 16 and ends on May 18, 2008. It's a conglomeration of writer workshops and it's similar to the London Book Fair, but it has a lot more creativity and a lot less business to business. Keep you eyes peeled for famous poets, writers and big brand publishers.
