Van Gogh in Bloom

If you think it s still a bit to cold to spend your days outdoors you can always look up the spring inside the Van Gogh Museum. Van Gogh was fascinated by blooming trees and when he lived in Arles he made many paintings of the orchards around the town. Even in his Saint‐Remy institution he liked to paint the blossoming branches of the garden, in fact it was here where he painted the famous almond blossom ‐ a very important piece in the Amsterdam collection.
