Online Travel Communities

Backpacking can be a confusing lifestyle at times. Well, most of the time, but the seasoned traveller knows to just roll with the punches, everything works out in the end. The seasoned traveller has also been introduced to online travel communities.

“So, what’s that?” You ask your computer screen, thankful that no-one else is witness to your admission of rookie travel status. Well, basically it’s an online collective of people and information who, like you, are looking for the best deals, the cheapest travel and the hottest new must-see destinations. There’s also travel blogs, chat rooms and messaging boards helping you to make new friends.

Here’s just a sample of what’s out there waiting to be discovered.
