Location in Bath
Bath has often been called the most beautiful city in England and with one look at the rolling green hills, the stunning Georgian buildings and the awe inspiring Bath Abbey, it would be hard for anyone to disagree. The city of Bath has always been a place of luxury. First inhabited by the Romans for the natural hot springs and the healing properties of the waters, Bath was established as a luxury spa town. Later on the city became the epicentre of the theatre-world, where the wealthy aristocracy of London would descend in the 18th century - for the season, especially when Brighton was out of favour! Today Bath is still a beautiful place, ideal for the culture-lover, the shop-a-holic, the modern spa enthusiast and the outdoor enthusiast alike.
