Location in Berlin

There’s no better way to start your tour of Germany’s capital than at St. Christopher’s backpackers hostels in Berlin. Located on Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse you’re already immersed in the history of the city. Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht founded the Communist Party of Germany in 1919 on this very same street. The former headquarters of the Party still stands a few feet away from your hostel bed. Furthermore, the building that is now St. Christopher’s youth hostel was the first site built by the Union to house its workers in the 1920’s. Also, on Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse is the Volksbuhne (People’s Stage) Theatre, the always popular and often controversial avant-garde theatre house and Berlin’s only large cinema from the 20’s Babylon Cinema. Located in the centre of the city you’ll be within walking distance to all the must-see attractions the city has to offer. Should you need to go further we are minutes from both the S-Bahn trains and the city underground system you won’t have any problems navigating your way around and getting where you need to go.
