February 2007 - Shepherds Bush
Shepherds Bush are going all out on February 06 to support the Australian Socceroos as they tackle one time European Champions Denmark.
Belushi’s will kick start events with some classic rock n’ roll, a tasty barbeque and past games on the big screens before the match at nearby Loftus Road Stadium, home of Queens Park Rangers.
The night will be run with help from the Green & Gold Army Socceroos Supporters crew, made famous by the support they drummed up for the team in Germany when they returned to the world stage for their first game since 1974. The crew promise to get you in the swing of things with some traditional Socceroo songs and chants, all the way through to 1am.
This could be the last chance to see the team play in London before 2008 as the boys leave the Oceania Confederation to play in the 2007 Asia Cup, where they are favourites to win.
Drink specials on the night include two for one on Corona and Fosters Twist between 3 and 8pm, a bucket of 5VB Stubbies for £12 and Brandy Rum and Coke at £2 all day. If you want to show your support before the game you can join the Green & Gold Army for free at www.ggarmy.com.
This hot hostel also caters to every sporting taste with all the action from the six nations, the premier league and highlights of the cricket one day finals.
Also on offer is the open mike night every Tuesday, a chance to win trips abroad and tasty food with Pizzas from just £4.99.
