Kite Surfing at Watergate Bay - April 9, 2011

Kitesurfing is nothing new to Newquay, but if you've never witnessed the majesty, then on April 9 you will want to find yourself at Watergate Bay. Shaun the Sheep: Championsheeps' at the Eden Project - April 9 to May 2, 2011

Whether you're a Shaun the Sheep zealot or just like to exercise your creativity at workshops, you won't want to miss Shaun the Sheep at the Eden Project. This year, Shaun the Sheep presents Championsheeps' - a series interactive activities that allow you to take part in Shaun-related events, including hop races, cabbage football and farmyard obstacle courses. The Shaun exhibit is included with the admission price of the Eden Project and there are several other events that will tickle your sheep-ish fancy.

Easter Wonderland Weekend at Newquay Zoo - April 22 to 25, 2011

Back by popular demand, the Mad Hatter is back for another round of weird and wacky fun. This nonsensical weekend will feature Alice in Wonderland characters, Easter egg croquet, the Maddest Hat contest and children's craft activities. There will also be games with prizes and a plastic duck race. In addition to all of this, there will be an Easter-themed feed for the real animals.

Easter Fun Day at Trenanace Cottages - April 24, 2011

Trenanace Cottages are hosting another Easter Fair featuring live music, refreshments, and games. This year's fair will also have an Easter Bonnet competition and the event is fancy dress, so dress however you like. There will be a duck dash, vendors and charity stalls, so come prepared for some Easter time fun! Easter Fun Day runs from 10.00 until 16.00.

Royal Wedding Day at Newquay Zoo - April 29, 2011

A couple called William and Kate are to be wed on April 29, and Newquay Zoo wants you to join in the celebrations, so come along to the zoo as a prince or a princesses for some fancy dress fun. Café Lemur will feature an all-English cuisine menu to commemorate this very special day in British history.

English National Surfing Championships - April 30 to May 2, 2011

The English National Surfing Championships are coming to Watergate Bay in Newquay. Surfing teams from across the UK will be vying tooth and nail to take home the English Surfing Championships title. This is an all-day event, so you might want to bring along some snacks and sun screen. Surf's up!
