Welcome to the St Christophers E-zine
Editor's Note - December 2008
A very merry December to each and every one of you! This month’s E-zine is full to the brim with literary presents for all you loyal backpackers! It’s a little festive thank you for being a part of 2008 with St Christopher’s.
Topping the bill are our international team of event writers who have buckled down to bring you all the info on every December event worth knowing about - in Paris, London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Bruges, Brighton, Edinburgh and Newquay. These guides guarantee to cure your Seasonal Affective Disorder and put a simile back on your face, no matter what St Christopher’s city you’re in.
Music Mashup is also tackling the what to-do in December conundrum, all thanks to a new rhythmically inclined columnist - Bryan Riebeek. For the December instalment Bryan has been digging around in the Edinburgh scene to make sure the freshest sounds make it your ear lobes before they hit anyone else.
You guys are making the front page too with last month’s readers winning free accommodation – all thanks to your travel writing tales in Write For a Night, the photos entered into Snap For a Nap and the vigilant answers put forward in the Hot Hostel Competition. These monthly competitions are all back on as of now so get involved and make the headlines in January 2009.
Before I bid you farewell for this year I’d be remiss not to mention the other top ranking December articles, such as the top 10 Christmas presents you don’t want and what to swap them for, the top five books to take with you on your travels and some top tips on how to save money on all the girly essentials in Beauty Terrorist. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
