Greenwich Attractions
Where do you start? The Royal Observatory, the Cutty Sark, the National Maritime museum or Greenwich Royal Park. The list could go on and on. There really is so much history waiting to be explored!
The Royal Observatory: Stands as a monument to navigational research, it is the original home of the Greenwich Mean Time and is famous for the Meridian line which divides the East from the West.
The Cutty Sark: The last of the great Tea Clippers is situated in the very heart of Greenwich, in a dry dock at the rivers edge. Displays depict life on board during her voyages.
National Maritime Museum: Britain's seafaring history displayed in an impresive modern museum. Themes include exploration and discovery, Nelson, 20th century seapower, trade and empire, costume, and the future of the sea.
Greenwich Royal Park: Enjoys panoramic views over Docklands and the City of London and is the oldest of London’s royal parks. The park was stocked with deer in 1515, and their descendants still roam in the area known as The Wilderness. In 1662 Charles II had the park landscaped in a style inspired by the French gardener André le Notre who planned the gardens of the Palace of Versailles.
Our great bed offer of 4 nights for the price of 3 has been extended from the end of February to now the 31st March! So that means if you stay between now and then you can save £££!
