The sun is shining, the ice cream vans are out in force and the Wimbledon finals are in full swing. Which can only mean one thing... The British Summer time has well and truly arrived!
There are few better times to visit these shores with a myriad of festivals, carnivals and events going on. From the Edinburgh Festival to the Rip Curl Newquay Surf Festival 2003. From the Notting Hill Carnival to partying along the promenade in Brighton. St Christopher's and Belushi's has it covered.
We have also started a regular feature of one of our partners in Europe's Famous Hostels (EFH). This month we have the Circus in Berlin!

EDINBURGH FESTIVAL!
Edinburgh is going to be buzzing in August with the annual festival taking place across the city.
The Festival is now seen as the world's largest arts gathering. You can see everything from juggling to opera, mime to panto, theatre to dance. What's more the performances are on all day and all night and take place pretty much anywhere. Including right outside our venue on Market Street.

Charity
HOPE was founded in 1994, the Year of the Family, to assist Handicapped, orphaned, poor and exploited children. Working mostly with volunteers, we ensure that your donations go directly to help needy children. We now assist projects in over 20 countries including the UK and pride ourselves on their personal nature, targeting our help to individuals and small groups of people. Interpub and HOPE have joined together as part of their 10th Anniversary celebrations to raise funds for street children and those affected by conflict.It is our aim, with your help to raise £20,000 for this worthy charity. So please give generously. Collection boxes can be found in all of our venues. Also keep an eye out for special fund raising events throughout the year.
