Euro Youth Hostel, Bad Gastein
Ever been in the gorgeous Austrian Alps? Summertime in Bad Gastein is what you want it to be. It can be a well needed rest for sore feet, from running around sightseeing the great cities of Europe, or it may as well be an action packed time. We offer paragliding, white water rafting (just 37 EURO), canyoning, mountain biking and endless hiking in the beautiful mountains. THRILLS IN THE HILLS then grilling and chilling. Not to forget is the famous thermal baths just 50 yards from the hostel. Jump into the warm delicious water and recharge your batteries.
Euro Youth Hostel Bad Gastein is heaven on earth for ski and board junkies, December to April this place is pumping.
Normal day in wintertime can be as follows; breakfast, and I mean breakFAST, because the fantastic slopes are waiting. And you want to be the first to carve up last nights 50 cm powderdump. Crazy après ski with Augustiner brew, great food from Ivan's famous kitchen, and then party on in to the night. Just remember to synchronise the 3 alarm clocks your brought, because you don't want to miss precious snow time!!
The hostel is as good as they come, all rooms have shower/wc and balcony with an alpine view.
Prices from 15 euro per night including breakfast.
Bed And Board (bed, breakfast + board/ski and boot hire) 29 euro per night.
1 hr (and about €10) from Salzburg (Ryanair), 2 hrs from Klagenfurt (also Ryanair). 3 hrs from Munich (easyjet and beerheaven).
