Booking your stay - Useful tips

With spring break coming, good hostel deals and availabilities in hostels around Europe become scarce. Here are a few tips to find the best deals

  1. Book online: Most of the specials we offer are available online only. However, those specials usually have limited availability and may not be available on all dates
  2. Prefer mid-week stays: week ends tend to be fully booked, and all the cheaper dorms book well in advance. This is particularly important outside London, such as in Brighton or Edinburgh. Why not plan your London or Edinburgh experience in the more quiet days?
  3. Book in advance: it goes without saying that the larger dorms are booked before the smaller (more expensive ones). Book a couple weeks in advance and you’ll have a full range choice.
  4. Don’t be site-centric: we have 6 hostels in London, all of them very well located and offering the same great value accommodation and bars. One hostel may be fully booked because we have a big group in. Also, all our web deals may go in one hostel, but not in the other. Always compare! For instance, Greenwich has £10 a bed deals all year round!
