Belushi’s – London Bridge

We hardly need to tell you what’s so great about the Village, but just in case you’d forgotten here’s an idea of what we get up to in the week...

Monday is Karaoke Night from 9pm onwards with our resident KJ Dave Knight.

Tuesday night is Comedy Night with Falling Down With Laughter from 8.30pm. Tickets cost £6, we recommend that you get there early so as not to miss out.

Wednesday sees the return of karaoke from 9pm, and on top of that we have the Hostelworld Party night in our basement bar. Vodka + selected mixer only £1, as well as other drinks specials.

Thursday in Sin Bin at Belushi’s where a wide range of drinks are only £1.50.

Dance the night away with DJ Gary P, playing a mix of R n’ B and chart hits.

Friday belongs to DJ Balders from 9pm. He’ll be playing a mix of R n’ B and house anthems until 2am.

Saturday nights sees one of our in-house DJ’s take to the decks to play Rock and party anthems, a selection of everyone’s favourite cheesy tunes.

Sunday is truly about a little rest and relaxation. Watch the live Premiership games, and all the latest US sports action on NASN. Live acoustic music with Blue Spoon!

Guests at the Village hostel have the luxury of a rooftop hot-tub and sauna, who can argue with that?!

Thurs 27th Oct – The summer is a distant memory for most of us, but don’t despair! Belushi’s will be hosting a Hawaii/Beach Party from 9pm - 2am. All the usual Thursday night £1.50 drinks specials apply.

Wed 16th Nov – Join us in the basement bar for a Toga Party from 9pm. Entry is free for backpackers, selected £1 drinks (vodka & mixer) 9 - 2am

St Christopher’s – London Bridge

Pre-order your lunch to save time

If lunchtimes consist of making a mad dash to grab a sandwich to eat at your desk, consider instead pre-ordering your food at St Christopher’s. Simply call us you’re your order before 11.30 am and we’ll guarantee to have it ready for whenever you want. Call on 02074072392.

Between 5pm and 8.30pm, Mon to Thurs get two meals for only £7. Choose from:

Tight Arse Tuesdays

Drinking in London can leave your wallet feeling very light, but not on Tuesday nights at St Christopher’s. We have an extensive range of drinks offers available:

The Orient Espresso – London Bridge

The smart people in town know that the Orient is a great place to stop off for a cup of coffee, some good food and a chance to check emails. New to the Orient this month is a fabulous lunchtime deal: Soup + any sandwich + cappuccino/latte for only £4.80. That’s a saving of £1!

St Christopher’s – Greenwich

Historians take note!

Greenwich is hosting a series of exhibitions, talks and dinners commemorating and celebrating the bi-centenary of the Battle of Trafalgar and the life of Horatio Nelson. With all of this going on, plus the busy Sunday markets there is plenty to see and do. There’s good food to be found EVERYWHERE, ranging from traditional pie and mash, pub food to ‘upper class’ rich weird sounding yet delicious food. Even better, don’t take the train here but the ferry from Westminster. It’s a lovely trip down the river, even if the weather is miserable.

Wednesday night is now Karaoke Night!

Can you sing? Are you brave enough to put down your hairbrush and pick up a microphone in front of an eager audience? If you’re in need of some courage, try one of our drinks specials.

Happy Hour every day from 5-8pm with 2-4-1 on Coronas and Vodka Cruisers, and top grub all day. Come and watch the football, the baseball on NASN, the live bands, our fantastic DJ’s, or simply to eat, drink and be merry!

Thursday night in Camden is our new live bands night.

On the 10th, Willie and the Poor Boys return with a night of superb blues
On the 24th the P.O.C’s are back with more hilarious lyrics and excellent acoustic sounds

Friday nights from 8pm - 2am some of London's top DJ's take to the decks. A great mix of tunes from soft rock, pop and hip hop through to great party anthems – Friday nights are a 6 hour party in the heart of Camden! So, come down and sample some of the great cocktails and shooters from the extensive menu and join in the fun!

Saturday is London's newest, and hottest, rock/alternative night - Animosity

Open from 8pm - 2am, six hours of the best rock and alternative sounds with a little bit of cheese thrown in for good measure.

Belushi’s in Edinburgh, Scotland

Hogmanay is a month away, yet November is still a great time to visit Edinburgh. Murrayfield will be hosting 3 International Rugby matches: Scotland vs. Argentina on Nov 12th, Scotland vs. Samoa on Nov. 20, and Scotland vs. New Zealand on Nov. 26.

If you find yourself in Edinburgh at the end of October, check out our massive annual Halloween costume party on the 29th. The theme this year is Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous with a strict Rock star and Movie Star dress code.

Every Saturday in November, take a leap into the past and check out our 90's themed party. Music, movies and fashion from your past…beware!

Live music remains a strong feature at Belushi's Edinburgh. Our resident band Bleeker will be unveiling their third full length album with an official CD launch later on in November. Catch them here every Friday night before you hear them on the radio.
