  4. Also starting kicking off on Nov 24 is Christmas Happening: A large Christmas Market selling all those hard to find gifts. The Markt square is lit up with strings of lights and there is even a large Ice Skating Rink for the perfect Winter Wonderland day. 
  5. Take a minute to pay homage to the patron saint of travellers for continued happy travels or for as a plea for the winds of change to bring about good fortune to your journeying days. A visit to the St. Christopher shrine in the Bauhaus bar is a must see for every visitor to medieval Bruges.
  6. For the culture lovers November is your month. First with In the Name of Mozart running from Nov 05-25, a schedule of concerts and portraits of the man of music and a celebration of the many artists inspired by Mozart.   7. Further along on the culture appreciation tour is the Around and About Rembrandt exhibition. A collection of Dutch prints from the golden century of art, you're welcome to come and see some of the best of the best first hand.
  8. Three times a week in the Markt Square's Belfry Tower you can experience for yourself the magic of the glockenspiel. The city of Bruges still employs a full-time bell ringer who will be putting on free concerts on Wed, Sat and Sun from 1415-1500. Locals still arrive regularly to sit and listen to the majesty of the glockenspiel.
  9. Finally we've got something for the food lover in the crowd: For one week only from Nov. 16 - 25 is the Van De Smaak Flemish food festival. A week of eating well and a week of eating culture.
