Newsletter May 2007
LIVE YOUR LIFE NEWSLETTER
Editor's Note - May 2007:
May has brought with it the winds of change and they are blowing through the rafters of St Christopher’s. The crew behind this very newsletter and the websites will be leaving a lot of happy memories behind as we leave our Borough High Street base for a fresh start in Hammersmith, London. The weather forecast foresees a lot of new faces, a new Belushi’s and a very popular online store where you can buy your St Christopher’s keep sakes before you too, move on to your next big adventure.
It’s not all change though because I know what you guys like and I don’t argue with 80,000 travellers! With that in mind I rammed this newsletter with all that is good and unwholesome in Amsterdam, the medically brain boosting power of caffeine, Born Free animalistic loving, some great reads and a totally new feature called Beauty Terrorist.
Inside this bad boy you will find all you need to know about getting your favourite lotions past the product police and where you can buy the beautifiers that don’t make it through. Hot on the heels of Mr Bryson last month, I’ve also hooked you guys up with another inspirational travel writer, in Interview Time.
Next month’s issue will also be doused in excitement when I launch a top secret competition that may very well make one of you guys into the next Bill Bryson, with your very own book deal.
On a final note those pesky winds are blowing one of my favourite girls out of the reservations office and away to Switzerland, before bigger and better things. You will be missed Cecile, not just by the St Christopher’s crew but by every backpacker who called you, made a booking and changed their lives forever at one of our hostels.

The Interview
Anna Nicholas
The top interview treat in May is some one on one time with Anna Nicholas. This talented lady worked as a press officer for Help The Aged when Princess Dianna was the patron, she has written for the Financial Times, the Independent, the Evening Standard and Tatler, worked for the Guinness Book of World Records and now she has written a rather funky travel book. At the end of this and before her next publication, she found time to talk to the St Christopher’s Travel Writers.
