April
Welcome to the St Christophers E-zine
Editor's Note - April 2008
Welcome, wherever you are in the world, to the month of April. The clocks in Britain have been fast forwarded an hour, the nights are longer and this very E-zine is blossoming with new features galore.
Not happy with one jam packed, forward planning events guide, the city sections have now been split into individual columns. The regular motley, travel writing crew now have some well deserved individual glory and there are some new writers on board too! Jessie Hickman introduces her guide to Paris, Stephen Shoup takes us with him on the road from Europe to Morocco and Kristin, Kalon and Kathleen tackle Berlin, London and Amsterdam respectively.
I braved the freak hurricane force winds to uncover the Top Ten things to do in Brighton, the Rough Guides have served up a free chunk of their Climate Change title, the Top Five Reads uncover all that is cool in the book collection of today's backpacker and Beauty Terrorist gets to grips with some bespoke fragrances at Penhaligon's.
Other blossoming vines in this literary miracle grow include a new, individually sized London Theatre Guide, which accommodates our new friendship with Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and also a new look contribution from Welcome Stranger Magazine, and their Travel Editor Jennifer Perkin.
Backpacker Bites - the health supplement to go, takes on a new tangent with a new writer at the helm, the Charities section welcomes guest writer and fundraiser Simon Welsh, Europe's Famous Hostels expose their base in Lisbon and I interview a spectacular young man who's strapping a London Telephone Box to the roof of a Mini and driving to Mongolia for charity.
That just leaves me with enough space to draw you into the Ethically Travelled world of Jen Page as she explores Eco-volunteering and DJ Michelle as she reviews Wiley and DJ Spyro.
