February

Welcome to the St Christophers E-zine

Editor's Note - February 2008

February means two things. The pain of restraint during Lent and loved up lovers having their bank accounts drained during the commercial, money making venture that is Valentine's Day. Neither of these are much fun so I present to you a fattening, hormonally enhanced E-zine – to get you through these dark times.

For this issue I put together a special Interview Time with the comedy geniuses behind As A Dodo and the BBC's Have I Got News For You. There's also a whole bundle of Segway orientated travel tips in this month's top ten, a girly guide to free hair cuts in Beauty Terrorist and the freshest literary offerings from the top publishers in our Top Five Reads.

The internationally renowned travel writing team have been typing up a storm with the brown side of town in Amsterdam, the museum circuit in Berlin and a second chance to get on with your 2008 resolutions at the Chinese New Year celebrations.

In other news DJ Michelle is back with some tantalising music reviews, Jen Page ethically travels into developing countries, Mr McDonald gets to grips with fad diets and our travel writing competition crowns a new backpacking writer.

Our friendship with Welcome Stranger Magazine is also hotting up and in this E-zine you have the chance to explore their brand spanking new community website in a special focus feature.

Other new occurances include a new look Brighton hostel after an intensive retrofit. You can see the opening party and our guests from Visit Brighton and What's On, having a riot, on the website soon! So until next month - tot ziens.
