October E-Zine

Welcome to the St Christophers E-zine

Editor's Note - October 2008

Welcome to the month of Oktoberfest, the onslaught of winter, Halloween and a wave of ghoulish unemployment for the investment bankers who pushed their luck too far. Things are decidedly greener on this side of the fence and this edition is going to put a smile on your face one way or another.

The first comical assault is served up in Interview Time starring the authors of Do Worms Have Willies - Sarah Herman and Lucy York. Banking on your collective curiosity being peaked by this, I also hooked you up with a free extract from the title and a further afield review in the Top 5 Reads for October.

Highlights from the forward planning, city event guide writers include the Paramount Comedy Festival in Brighton, the Salon du Chocolat in Paris, the Festival of Lights in Berlin, October Plenty in London and much more.

This month's Top Ten feature has searched out the best travel guides in the business - with some great advice online and in print, and Beauty Terrorist is back with something special too a skin enhancing facial on the road for less than 10!

In other news Europe's Famous Hostels are getting in on the action with a special sneak preview of everything worth visiting in Valencia, Ethical Travel follows up on the animal aftermath of Hurricane Ike, the London Theatre Reviews and Previews are back with a vengeance and the winning entry in our monthly travel writing competition takes us to Jirisan in South Korea! Until November.
