August E-Zine

Welcome to the St Christopher's E-zine

Editor's Note - August 2009

This month Europe is awash with festivals and cultural celebrations aplenty, so roll up for your fast track guides to all that’s fun ‐ in and around the St Christopher’s cities!

In this edition of your backpacker travel E‐zine the crew across Europe indulge you with event forecasts for the month ahead in London, Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Bruges Edinburgh and Brighton. From the Fringe in Edinburgh to the beaches brought in on the back of a lorry in Paris, there’s something here for the all the travellers in the summer of 09.

Better yet there’s a free chunk of Lonely Planet’s Coastal California title in the August extract and the top five reads serve up a tantalising blend of the books you really should be taking to the beach.

Ethical Travel explores the bike tour options in Amsterdam, Interview Time gives you a one on one session with Sky Travel’s Lisa Francesca Nand, Beauty Terrorist serves up a cure to acne and Music Mashup gets down and funky with Madonna and Holst on the London scene.

This just leaves the regular abundance of free accommodation up for grabs in the competition column and the brand spanking new healthy living guide to life on the road ‐ brought to you be the fitness experts over at Virgin Active gyms. Until September, auf wiedersehen pets.
