December E-Zine
Welcome to the St Christopher's E-zine
Editor's Note - December 2009
There’s no more dodging it kids – it’s here. Christmas has once again crept up on us but fear not. It’s not all forced, festive fun and fund draining, gift giving. There are in fact free ice rink riddled, mulled wine fuelled markets across Europe and alternative events in every St Christopher’s city to keep you entertained - when you’re away from home at Christmas.
Marilyn Manson is rolling into Paris with a little tour, the December Dance event will be rocking Bruges, Ricky Gervais is lighting up Brighton, Alexanderplatz in Berlin will be abuzz with festivities and London of course is topping them all with an eclectic mix of everything going on in Europe, all at once – on a much larger scale!
The usual E-zine suspects are also back and December’s interview spot has been filled by the queen of Indie travel – TNT’s Travel Editor, Amy Adams. In the Backpacker Bites slot there’s a great guide to staying healthy in spite of travel related sleep deprivation, Ethical Travel explores ethical gifting at Christmas and this month’s top five books on the road serves up the great and the good from Philip Roth, and the travel guide publishing power houses. I’ll be seeing you all in 2010 and leave you with this resolution - Happy New Year.
