January E-Zine
Welcome to the St Christophers E-zine
Editor's Note - January 2009
I always think a good way to start a new year is to look back at the old one. This way you can pick out all the best bits, edit out every minor mistake and launch yourself into another 12 months on a current of fantastic new resolutions - that you know you won’t stick to.
Give or take a point - this pretty much sums up the January 09 Travel E-zine. In other words I trawled through every 2008 edition and I’ve selected the prime cuts of literary meat, just for your reading pleasure.
All your favourites have been summarised and collectivised including the money saving splendour or Beauty Terrorist, the healthy as ever Backpacker Bites and the Music Mashups over the year. There’s also the Top 10 – Top 10s from 2008, celebrating the greatest travel tips from backpackers just like you and the industry experts too.
It’s not all old school though because there’s plenty of fresh content to be found in our monthly event guides for the St Christopher’s cities, a very insightful children’s charity piece in Ethical Travel and a new winner in our travel writing competition, Write For A Night.
Beyond that there’s a rather special spotlight feature on America’s Deep South, exploring the yesteryear town of Chattanooga, its infamous Choo Choo and just how much America is changing with the rise of the one and only, President Obama.
This isn’t just any E-zine. This is a travel resource, drizzled with Indie traveller intrigue and smothered in backpacker interaction. Until the overpriced, romance of February I bid you adieu.
