May E-Zine
Welcome to the St Christophers E-zine
Editor's Note - May 2009
May is a monster of a month with events galore, a buffet of brain food and the most inspirational trip ideas around. I’m also superbly happy to welcome new columnist Jackie Reddy to the E-zine fold as she bravely takes on the Ethical Travel slot with her take on the Slow Food Movement.
If you’re searching for fun things to do a la Paris, London, Berlin, Bruges, Brighton, Amsterdam or Edinburgh then look no further than our tailor made city guides. This month you can pick and choose from Berlin’s Carnival of Cultures, Edinburgh’s Imaginate Festival, the Counting Crows in Brighton, the Bruges Metal Festival, the French Open in Paris, London’s City Showcase Festival and then some. Lovely.
For some editorial meat and potatoes wrap your visual senses around the free travel book extract - the Backpacker by John Harris, check out the top five cheap trips this summer, pick up the best books from the top five reads and meet Lonely Planet author Oliver Berry, in Interview Time.
Throw in the best sounds around in may from Music Mashup, finely chop up the antidote to travel sickness in the healthy living column and blend up some female travel tips in Beauty Terrorist, and this E-zine pie is all set to fill you up for the month ahead. See you for some fatty travel goodness in June.
