Czech Inn Celebrates

Celebrating the Big Three with a New Look

Czech Inn Hostel Reception

Has it really been three years since Mathias Schwender (owner of well-known Sir Toby’s and swoon-worthy Miss Sophie’s) and Chris Syvertsen, General Manager, embarked on a new adventure with the opening of their newest property, Czech Inn? I guess time really does fly when you’re having fun!

Three years ago this month, Czech Inn opened its doors to welcome their first guests. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of worldwide press, art showings, musicians from around the world, reconstruction and, of course, amazing guests that make the vibe so rockin’.

Housed in a beautifully restored 19th century building, Czech Inn is celebrating its 3rd birthday with the addition of 13 newly constructed double en-suite rooms, slated for completion in early May. Think hotel-style accommodation with a totally hip hostel vibe.

David Baker, Reception Manager said: “I think this is a reinvention of Czech Inn and the boutique hostel industry in general...we’ve always had a chic, sleek, modern design, but the recent reconstruction is taking chic, sleek and modern to a whole new level.”

In the last three years, Czech Inn, a member of Europe’s Famous Hostels, has gotten its fair share of nods from international publications, including Glamour Magazine Italy, Let’s Go, Sky Europe’s In-Flight magazine, Elle UK, Elle Girl UK, numerous guide books, several interior design magazines and more.
