August E-Zine

Welcome to the St Christophers E-zine

Editor's Note - August 2010

Good August to you backpackers! I know it’s summer and you’re on the road enjoying the journey so I’ll keep this short, sharp and punchy!

Inside your travel advice take away this month you’ll find the Top Ten Travel Gadgets fresh off the 2010 production guide, the best festivals coming up across Europe in the city event forecasts and the top five books to keep your brains in gear between the beers.

The regulars are here too with advice on outdoor swimming in Ethical Travel, the pros and cons of time travel in Matt the Mouth’s opinion column and the networks that are essential for survival in American Abroad.

Until September, I leave you with my favourite quote of the moment from the guys at 501places.com: “A good traveller has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving. He just knows how far away he is from the next Wi-Fi fix.”
