October E-Zine

Welcome to the St Christophers E-zine

Editor's Note - October 2011

Winter may well be on the horizon but the backpacker circuit in Europe is busier than ever with the Amsterdam Dance Event landing in Holland, Musikfest arriving in Berlin, Dance Marathon parading through London and the Agharta Jazz Festival serenading the streets of Prague.

On top of the many events lighting up October, this edition of the E-zine also brings you the Top Ten Backpacks on the market, the hottest books to load them up with and a healthy dollop of brain food in Matt the Mouth’s opinion column, dedicated this month to the lives of the rich and famous.

Throw in a top travel writing competition entry all about the Island of Elba, a hearty travel book extract covering the UK’s hottest hiking routes and an Ethical Travel column exploring green transport, and you should have enough to tide you over in the run up to the November edition!

Until next time backpackers.

- Rob Savage
