Location in Prague

Our hostel is in a great central location – close to the National Theatre and just a short walk away from the famous Charles Bridge. It’s the ideal base when exploring every historical hot-spot in town - from the Prague Castle to Old Town Square. Prague is a compact city with all of the top sights either in the centre or a short walk away. Better yet if you’re an adventurous traveller looking to explore the path less trodden, then the public transport system in Prague is easy and efficient, with many metros, trams and buses at your affordable, disposal!  

St Christopher's Prague is located in Nové Město (the New Town), which Charles IV added on to the Old Town back in 1348. From here you’re only a few minutes away from the historic Old Town sights on foot, and also a plethora of tram lines that will take you to the hip Vinohrady, the romantic Malá Strana under the Castle, the great shopping strip at Anděl  or anywhere else that you would like to go.

In our New Town location you can enjoy a break from the sometimes overwhelming tourist strip and an astounding range of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and clubs, all a mere matter of minutes away from Mosaic House.

Travelling to Prague

The public transportation routes mentioned below run from 5AM until 12AM. For directions between the hours of midnight and 5AM, please call or email us.

From the Airport

1. Take bus 119 to the last stop, Dejvická Metro Station (Line A – Green Line).
2. Take the underground metro four stops to Můstek.
3. Follow the transfer signs to Line B (Yellow Line).
4. Take the metro Line B two stops to Karlovo náměstí.
5. Exit the metro following signs to Karlovo náměstí (not towards Palackého náměstí).
6. After the escalator, take exit E4 up the stairs to street-level and take a left.
7. Walk to the end of the block and take another left onto Odborů street (beside the Sony store).
8. You will see Mosaic House on your left, Odborů 4.

We also recommend a shuttle service that can transport you to and from the Prague airport at a great rate (1-4 people for 550 CZK total, 5-8 people for 950 CZK total – each way). From the Main Train Station (Czech: Hlavní nádraží)

1. Take the underground metro (which can be accessed inside the Train Station) Line C (Red Line) two stops to I.P. Pavlova.
2. Exiting the metro, take the last right up the escalator to street-level.
3. Take any tram going right two stops and get off at Karlovo náměstí.
4. Walk alongside the tram-tracks turning right and walk to the end of the block.
5. Take a left onto Odborů street (beside the Sony store) and you will see Mosaic House on your left, Odborů 4.

From the Holešovice Train Station (Czech: Nádraží Holešovice)

1. Take the underground metro (which can be accessed inside the Train Station) Line C (Red Line) five stops to I.P. Pavlova.
2. Exiting the metro, take the last right up the escalator to street-level.
3. Take any tram going right two stops and get off at Karlovo náměstí.
4. Walk alongside the tram-tracks turning right and walk to the end of the block.
5. Take a left onto Odborů street (beside the Sony store) and you will see Mosaic House on your left, Odborů 4.

From the Florenc Bus Station

1. Take the underground metro Line B (Yellow Line) four stops to Karlovo náměstí.
2. Exit the metro following signs to Karlovo náměstí (not towards Palackého náměstí).

4. Walk to the end of the block and take another left onto Odborů street (beside the Sony store).

From the Na Knížecí Bus Station

1. Take the underground metro Line B (Yellow Line) one stop to Karlovo náměstí.
2. Exit the metro following signs to Karlovo náměstí (not towards Palackého náměstí).

4. Walk to the end of the block and take another left onto Odborů street (beside the Sony store).
