Does anything sound more appropriate for summer than camping on the beach? This sunny festival takes place in the Spanish seaside town Benicassim, which is just about 2 and a half hours away Barcelona. It’s a huge annual music festival on the beach and this year it has an impressive lineup including the likes of Kings of Leon, the 1975, Lana Del Rey, George Ezra, Jess Glynn, Blossoms, Fat Boy Slim and more. Young backpackers, students and locals love this festival and it’s not hard to realise why. This festival is all about sand, sea, sun, music and good vibes only. You can see why it’s won the UK Festival Award for Best Overseas Festival. The best part? People camp out in tents just 10 minutes walk from the beach (or you can glamp). It can get pretty hot in the camps (it’s the middle of summer after all), so be sure to pack some face sprays and mini fans.
