We’re seeing hints of summer sun here in the Big Smoke which only means one thing…drinking, dancing and music festivals are just around the corner. Want to head to one of the best musical festivals in London this summer? London’s festival line-up for 2019 is looking pretty epic with some of the world's best summer festivals taking place in the city of London. We’ve scoped out the biggest and best music festivals happening in the capital this year so you can save time searching, and spend more time dancing to awesome live acts and some of the best DJs in the business. 1 WE ARE FSTVL

24th - 26th May

Craig David, Andy C, Basement Jaxx, Ben Sterling, Chase & Status… Need we say a lot more? You’re sorted for bank holiday in London this May as the city’s biggest DJ festival will be taking over Upminster’s Damyn's Hall Aerodrome for the entire weekend across 20 stages. Buy a weekend ticket, pack a tent and camp under London’s stars with your pals or choose your ideal line-up and buy a one day ticket instead. Either way you’re in for the time of your life.

2 GALA FESTIVAL

26th May

Gala Festival will be welcoming a huge line-up of DJs to their one day event on Peckham Rye, and let us tell you, these guys know how to get a crowd going. Expect nothing less than seriously good house and techno music infused with old-school disco and jazzy vibes. The likes of Crazy P, Honey Dijon, Mr Scruff, Gerd Janson and Chez Damier will be taking to the stage, providing you with a whole day of drinking, dancing plus eating from their tasty street food vendors. 3 LOVE BOX

12th - 13th July

This epic 2-day festival takes place in London’s Victoria Park, Tower Hamlets. Every year it’s packed with an incredible line-up of huge British artists. For 2019, acts include Loyle Carter, Brockhampton, Annie Mac and Fortet and as for the headliners, Giggs, Chance the Rapper, Solange, 2 Chains and Cypress Hill will be hitting the stage. The festival is a huge celebration of British music so Love Box is one not to be missed!

4 READING FESTIVAL

23rd - 25th August

If you’re a music lover, you have to attend Reading Festival at least once in your life. The experience will blow your mind. While it’s technically not in London, but on the outskirts, we can’t not add world famous Reading Festival in this list. Camping, good music, friends and fun for 3 days - what more can you want? Taking place in Richfield Avenue, headliners on the main stage this year include The 1975, Post Malone, Foo Fighters, Twenty One Pilots and Blossoms. It will be muddy and messy - Remember your wellies. Reading is so much more than just a music festival, it's like an epic camping trip.

5 WIRELESS

5th - 7th July

For those who aren't fans of camping, this festival is for you (especially if you like rap). Every year we look forward to hearing who will be playing at Wireless - because the line-up is always killer. This year is no different with incredible urban/grime/pop artists like Lil Yachty, A$AP Rocky, Stefflon Don, Tim Westwood, Ella Mai, Cardi B, Migos, Tyga and way way more. Running over 3 days, choose which day you go on wisely (you don’t want to miss your fave act). Or better yet, get tickets for the whole weekend. Located at London’s Finsbury Park, Wireless is gonna be one to remember.

6 BARCLAYS PRESENTS BST HYDE PARK

5th - 7th July / 13th - 14th July

A massive party in one of London’s biggest parks, BST gets bigger and better each and every year. The festival is held over two different weekends. On the first weekend (5th - 7th) it's your chance to see music legends Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion or Barbara Streisand live - each one headlining on a different day. The 2019 line-up for Saturday 13th July and Sunday 14th will be bringing rock and pop fans together with headliners including Florence and the Machine, Robbie Williams, the Black Eyed Peas, Blood Orange and more. Barclays’ British Summer Time Hyde Park is going to be INCREDIBLE. Held over two weekends, be quick at getting your tickets for the day or days you want to go.

7 CITADEL

14th July

Bastille will be headlining, need we say more? Citadel Festival takes place in West London’s Gunnersbury Park, home to one of the hottest festivals of the summer. Bought to you by the team behind London’s Lovebox Festival, this popular newcomer on the festival scene sees some of the coolest young talent also on the smaller stages - and you'll find London's best street food vendors, Prosecco on tap and real ales and beers to get you in the mood for dancing. Just hope for some great British sunshine!

8 KALEIDOSCOPE FESTIVAL

21st July

Head up to London’s Alexandra Palace’ park on a hill where you can party to great music with good food and an awesome view over the city. Kaleidoscope will be kicking off their FIRST year of partying with a live music line up which is still to be announced. Famous DJs will be on the decks playing house, techno and disco tunes to get you in the festival spirit. This festival even throws in some theatrics and comedy to really make it top your list of best summer days out of the year!
