1 Pergola Paddington
5 Kingdom St, London W2 6PY
April - October 2018
After successfully taking over Paddington last year, Pergola is back again for the summer with street food, drinks and a fun but chilled vibe. Sit upstairs and have an al fresco drink or head downstairs into the bright and seriously Instagrammable indoor garden (it’s also right by the food). Munch on tacos from DF/Mexico, Vietnamese bao buns from MAM, juicy burgers from Patty & Bun or a sticky hoisin duck burger from Canard. Pergola tends to get fully booked most evenings of the week, so ring up and reserve your table in advance or the staff will do their best to slot you in on a table.
2 Neverland London presents Fulham Beach Club
Neverland London, Wandsworth Bridge Road, London, SW6 2TY
Sink your toes into the sandy shores of the Thames at the Fulham Beach Club this summer! Their events calendar is jam-packed with boozy beach parties plus Saturday yoga sessions and bottomless beach brunches. Head there on a sunny afternoon to share a cocktail pitcher with your friends on the sand, before challenging them to a game of beer pong, croquet, shuffleboard and more… Burgers, BBQ boxes and cheesy woodfired pizzas are all on the menu. Entry is £5, but check their website as there will usually be a way of getting yourself free entry (and sometimes a free cocktail, too!).

Finsbury Square, London, EC2A
June - August 2018
Every Thursday and Friday until August 3rd, Festibowl will take over Finsbury Square in an attempt to lower the average age of the classic ‘oldie’s’ sport, bowls. Have a go at the gloriously British game and we bet you’ll become a bowls convert! Truffle London will be serving up their posh burgers (think fig jam, raclette cheese and truffle mayo) whilst Chalana Market offers their heavenly steak, pulled pork or halloumi wraps. Bubbles, beer, wine and spirits will be behind the bar so you can drink while you smash it on the lawn. If this is what bowls is all about, then count us in!
4 Roof East
Floors 7 & 8, Stratford Multi Storey Car Park, Great Eastern Way, London E15 1XE
May - September 2018
Catch a sunset over the Olympic Park at Roof East, with their circus-inspired theme bringing an all singing all dancing pop-up to Stratford for the summer. Expect street food, mini golf, hip-hop bowls, yoga and the Rooftop Film Club, all overlooking stunning views of East London. You could spend all day being a big kid at Roof East with all its quirky activities. Once you’re done with all that, pull up a deck chair, sip a cocktail from a pineapple and watch the sun go down!
5 Skylight at Tobacco Dock
Pennington St. Car Park entrance, Wapping, London E1W 2SF
May - September 2018
Take in London’s skyline at Skylight. It’s one of the top places in east London to be hanging out this summer, with a cocktail in one hand and a croquet mallet in the other! Croquet and petanque are both part of the fun here, but they’ll also be showing the World Cup and Wimbledon championships on their huge outdoor screens. Yiro will be there serving up tasty Greek food and Flip Side will handle the burger side of things. Take the District or Circle line to Tower Hill, walk 15 minutes to the car park entrance and head right up to the top where you’ll find a haven of quintessentially British summer fun!
6 Lost Vegas at the Queen of Hoxton
1 Curtain Road, London, EC2A 3JX
May - October 2018
Shoreditch’s Queen of Hoxton rooftop is always a hit in the summer. And this year, their Lost Vegas theme is gonna be even crazier than ever. Meet Elvis in the Little Vegas Wedding Chapel, play classic Vegas slot machines or check out the random treats you can get from the vending machines (from boozy ice pops to wedding rings and divorce certificates). There’ll even be an old yellow school bus as the bar plus a huge rooftop cinema for those warm summer evenings.
7 Taste of London 2018

This pop-up doesn’t last long, so make sure it’s in your diary or you might miss it! Head to Regents Park for a 5 day feast with the best in town. Sample signature dishes of newbies to London, plus that of the city’s most renowned restaurants will be there with tasty samples. See live demos with some of the best London chefs, take part in a masterclass or do a spot of shopping at the market. This is a pop-up that foodies won’t be able to resist! Tickets are from £17 if you book online.
