There are sports bars all over Berlin, but some are really not as good as others. You want somewhere with multiple screens, good beer on tap and a guaranteed buzzing atmosphere for every game. 1. Belushi’s Bars
Just around the corner from Museum Island is the best sports bar in Mitte and our top pick for any game. Belushi’s Bar is new to the area, but they’ve already made their mark on Berlin’s sports bar scene with their first branch in the city, right by Alexanderplatz. If you’re visiting the city and there’s a big game from home that you don’t want to miss, you can almost always count on Belushi’s to be showing it. The bar shows countless international sports events from European football (Premier League, Euros, Carabao Cup – you name it) to the NFL (and a HUGE Super Bowl party). It’s also the best place in Berlin to watch boxing fights. Wherever the event takes place in the world and at whatever time, Belushi’s will show it live and you can count on the atmosphere to be buzzing. Sit back and watch on the big HD screens and projectors around the bar, and make the most of a huge international beer and spirit selection all night long. They also serve up some seriously tasty burgers and bar snacks if you’re hungry during a game.
2. Hops & Barley
Over in Friedrichshain on the eastern side of Berlin is a cosy spot for a home brewed beer with football on TV. Hops & Barley is a brewpub, meaning pretty much all the beer is freshly brewed on site making a great accompaniment to watching a game of live football. The beer bar does only show football on their TVs but if it’s a Champions League, Bundesliga or Europa game you want to watch, the atmosphere is always on form. Pull up a chair amongst brewing vats and the fresh hoppy smell of beer that’s served ice cold while you cheer on your beer with a mix of local regulars and one-time visitors.
3. Cliffs of Dooneen
North Berlin’s answer to an Irish pub is Cliffs of Dooneen in Prenzlauer Berg. Pop in for a game of footy with a pint of Guinness and happy-go-lucky Irish vibes. There are a number of HD screens dotted around the place so wherever you sit you’ve got a great view of a big match. Just make sure you get there in time to nab a table. Is there a game you want to watch that’s not on the TV? Ask the bar staff who may be able to change it for you depending on time and channel. The friendly, relaxed atmosphere invites all kinds of sports lovers, so whether you’re there for a big game or one you’ve barely heard of, you know you’re gonna enjoy it.

Take a seat in front of one of the many TVs around Lolly-Pub for an awesome sporting atmosphere near Friedrichshain. Here you can guarantee a good view, great drinks selection and really reasonable prices. With mostly football on TV, you footy fans won’t ever miss a big game if you’re in Berlin while it’s on.
