BELUSHI’S

Looking for the craic in Berlin for St Patrick’s Day 2020? This is the most famous venue in town for international events and this year, Belushi’s will be celebrating St Paddy's Day in true Irish style.

The bar will be serving Jameson Irish Whiskey, pints of Guinness, Baby Guinness shots and bottled Irish cider for the event, as well as a long happy hour from 5pm until 9pm (involving €1 shots). On stage there will be live music to get the party started and the DJ will keep the party going strong all night long. With a mix of backpackers, locals, students and tourists, everyone comes together for an awesome time at Belushi’s every St Patrick’s Day. The theme? Wear your greenest outfit for the chance of winning a bar tab.

There are two Belushi’s Bars in Berlin, one by Alexanderplatz and one in the heart of Berlin Mitte.

OFFSIDE PUB AND WHISKEY BAR

One for the whiskey lovers. The Offside is a local favourite in Berlin and the perfect stop on a St Paddy’s day pub crawl for whiskey fans. Offering a fantastic range of whiskies with over 700 varieties, you’ll be spoilt for choice at this Irish bar with a sophisticated edge. The menu also includes a great range of local craft beers, and of course a cosy pint of Guinness. The owner Lars hosts whiskey tastings too.

FINNEGANS

Finnegans is a truly authentic Irish pub and restaurant in the Steglitz district, a short journey away from the city centre. With friendly staff and a warm atmosphere, there’s a reason it’s one of the most popular Irish bars in the city. The food is comforting and heart warming serving up classic Irish dishes from Shepherds Pie to Irish spare ribs. St Patrick’s Day is set to be buzzing at Finnegans. Great beer, Great food and Irish malt. What more can you want?

CLIFFS OF DONEEN

This small Irish pub is one of the best in Prenzlauer Berg with a great selection of House beer. It’s a very homely pub with a regular clientele, offering a lovely area for outdoor seating and smoking. You can expect it to be packed on St Patrick’s Day, as the whole area is lively filled with bars and restaurants. The Guinness here costs just over €4 a pint, great value for money compared to other Irish pubs.

THE LIR

A hidden gem nestled in the heart of the city. The Lir is easily the best Irish bar in town (and has been highly recommended by our team in Berlin - who love their beer), so we know this place is top notch. Boasting an open fireplace in winter and a leafy green palm tree beer garden on warmer days, The Lir is a great place to head to whatever the weather happens to be on the 17th. Selling yummy Irish specials on the food menu, great beer including the classics of Guinness, Kilkenny and cider, be sure to stop by here on St Patrick’s Day.

BLARNEY

Walk through the door of Blarney and step into Ireland! Well, that’s what it feels like anyway, with Guinness getting poured from the barrel and 6 different Irish whiskies stocked up behind the bar. Just like every other year, Blarney will be hosting one of Kreuzberg’s biggest St Patrick’s Day parties. From 1:30pm on March 17th, head down for all the Guinness and whisky you want plus traditional Irish music and a whole lot of laughs amongst a friendly Irish crowd.
