NEST

This cute little rooftop is basically a stunning garden with green plants and beautiful edible flowers (yes I did say edible!), only you get an amazing view too!
For yoga lovers, there is a s 7:30 am session every Thursday where you can admire the sunrising whilst exercising. And, after all that exercising, you can enjoy some delicious pancakes or crunchy wraps from their bar.
Not a morning person? That’s okay. Nest is open until 11pm everyday so you can come in the evening and enjoy some of their AMAZING homemade sangria, lemonade and unique super juices whilst watching the sunset. Hard to resist.
HANNEKES BOOM

Hannekes Boom is a waterfront cafe with a beautiful lookout towards the water which is perfect for watching the boats and admiring the beautiful views of the IJ bay, Nemo and Old Amsterdam.

A’DAM TOWER

Check out Amsterdam’s coolest building. Sharing its space with the Lookout Observation Deck (with an over the edge swing), the Madam is a bar and restaurant perched on top of A’dam Toren with a 360° view of the entire city.
Don’t miss out on seeing the sunset so you can catch the sky changing to all different colours and watch the city change when the lights are turned on.
And, once the sun has set, the Madam transforms into a nightclub open from 21:30 pm until late. It gets even better: the bartenders make some inventive cocktails including Sweet Basil and Tipsy Raspberry to get your taste buds going crazy!

Pack a swimsuit because you’re going to need one when visiting this place! Located on the top of W Amsterdam hotel, there’s a unique rooftop bar with a swimming pool! Take a dip in W Amsterdam’s fabulous rooftop wet deck whilst soaking in views of the historic city centre including the Royal Palace!
I bet you’re thinking that you have to be a guest in the hotel in order to enjoy this luxury, well you’re wrong! The WET Deck is open for everyone (over 16) during the summer as long as you spend €25 on food or drink. Trust me, it’s definitely worth it, they have some INCREDIBLE food and the BEST cocktail menu! They even host their own special events and cocktail parties during the weekend, the perfect time to take in the spectacular sunset view.
NEMO ROOFTOP BAR

Nemo isn’t just a famous science museum, it also has an huge rooftop with a view of the whole of the city! Open until 19:00 during the summer months, Nemo has a rooftop cafe called DAK offering delicious snacks such as hot dogs, tasty sandwiches and ice cold lemonade, all with a view! It’s the place to come if you need a little rest from all that science and it even has some interesting water features to keep you entertained!
The roof terrace is accessible for everyone, with a huge seating area, even if you don’t fancy buying anything from the cafe, you can still bring your picnic and have a nice lunch admiring the views.

The Ramada Apollo hotel welcomes you to visit the 17th floor. The best part? Enjoy an evening of films with Floor 17 who hosts cinema nights every Saturday. You can turn up on the night or book your tickets in advance. You guessed it, Twenty Third Bar is located on the 23rd floor of the Okura Hotel (hence the name) and it’s the HIGHEST skybar in Amsterdam.
This chic and comfortable place with a soft lighting and a beautiful decor serves a mixture of cocktails suitable for Gin lovers, Vodka lovers, Rum lovers… you name it, they have it!
Not only do they have a huge variety of cocktails, they also sell multiple types of beer and wine and there’s even a restaurant right next door called Ciel bleu, if you fancy a bite to eat.
