KENNEDY

Moll de Mestral, 26-28, 08005

One of the coolest things about Kennedy is that it overlooks beautiful Port Olimpic marina, so you can sit outside on the terrace with a cold pint and watch the boats. At night, the pub hosts great live music from bands around the area -  and boasts one hell of a party atmosphere.

The drinks selection is one of the best in town, with Guinness, Becks and Leffe amongst eight draught beers. For St Patrick’s Day expect them to go big. You can register for a free drink online (for St Paddy's Day) and it's free entry!

THE WILD ROVER IRISH PUB

Carrer de Santa Mònica, 2, 08001

Just roam across Las Ramblas and you’ll come across the Wild Rover, one of the best Irish pubs in Barcelona specialising in whisky and beer. There is a total of 16 beers on tap include Guinness, Kilkenny, Murphys, Becks and BrewDog Punk IPA. For St Patrick’s day, the pub will be playing host to live music and free face painting - plus you’ll get a free hat. We say start here for some Irish grub, then head to Belushi’s later for the real party!

TEMPLE BAR

Carrer de Ferran, 6, 08002

If this year’s St Paddy’s Day is anything like last year, you’ll be head to toe in green by the time you leave Temple Bar, as these guys go all out. Serving up all the classic Irish beverages you could ask for, from Guinness and Kilkenny to Jameson whisky, they also have the national favourites, plus they rustle up a tasty cocktail, too. The decor inside, Irish music and crazy atmosphere will have you forgetting that you’re on the doorstep of Las Ramblas, and feeling like you’re partying right in the heart of Dublin.

FLAHERTY’S

Plaza Joaquim Xirau, s/n, 08002

If you’re on an Irish bar pub crawl, head to Flaherty’s after the Wild Rover as they’re just a 2 minute walk from each other. Flaherty’s is a quality Irish pub in the city where Irish expats find a home away from home under the Mediterranean sun. The bar has 13 Irish beers on tap and lovely outdoor terrace to sip on your Guinness.

THE GEORGE PAYNE

You’re always in for a good time at The George Payne, but when it comes to St Patrick’s Day it gets even crazier than ever. This huge Irish bar in Placa Urquinaona is a great place to stop by for a few St Paddy’s Day drinks - Guinness, whisky and all. Of course there’s also going to be a giant March 17th celebration, when the place will be decked out in green, orange and white, and people will come in sporting a glorious shade of green. For one of the best St Patrick’s parties in Barcelona, The George Payne is always a good shout.
